Located in the seacoast region of New Hampshire, in the historic town of Rochester, HKEC has the benefit of being in a perfect position between the NH/Southern ME coast lines and the Lakes/Mountain regions of NH. Our growing 100 acre facility has a lot to offer any equine enthusiast. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service to all of our clients. HKEC services include boarding, training, instruction, sales, clinics, camps, and various equine/equestrian events. You will feel right at home whether you are a young rider, or young at heart in our professional and friendly facility.

Our riding program's philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that riders need a strong foundation and we are happy to work with children and adults, regardless of previous riding experience.  Our instructors have combined their life-long passion for horses, formal education and equine experiences to produce a positive teaching approach for all levels of riders. Your safety is always a priority at HKEC and lesson goals are tailored to each individual's ability and proficiency.

We provide the highest level care for the lay-up/injury rehabilitation; training or show board and general boarding for all breeds/age of horses. Our boarding packages include individualized feeding programs with daily turn out, closely monitored healthcare; 24hr on-site staff; personalized exercise and lesson programs; competition sized outdoor ring; 60’ round training pens; heated tack room, wash & grooming areas; and miles of trails maximize the health and well being of both horse and owner/rider. Construction continues on our BIG, NEW INDOOR ARENA and we look forward to its completion.

The design of our equine complex reflects the considerable interest shown by horse enthusiasts and offers clients the VIP treatment with unsurpassed care for horse and rider. From an exceptional nutritional program to excellent farrier and vet care, you will find the best at HKEC. We offer owners a safe, well maintained facility to keep their horses without worry of the care they will receive. The equine complex is home to an expert Farrier Facility, the N.H. Equestrian Academy, a nutritional center, New England Equine Care and Facilities (501c) and the Myhre Equine Clinic, recognized for 27 years as the premier service provider in New England for high-quality equine veterinary care, superior technological imaging and surgical services.
