Join us on Sunday January 16 at 12:00 PM for
our annual Ski Joring Demonstration and Clinic. These horses and riders don’t hold
anything back in this extreme sport. Watch the pros maneuver the course at top speeds and
then watch the beginners give it a shot. The course consists of cones to weave through,
cornering and jousting rings to spear with their arm as they fly by. Get ready for spills
as they come off the four-foot jumps before hitting the finish line. |

Prepare to join us for the 2011 race season!
Peewee through advanced divisions. Clinic registration is $50.00 per person. Bring your
horse at no charge for training. Audit the clinic for $20.00 per person. As a skier you
will learn from a professional ski instructor how to effectively maneuver the course and
dally your rope. As a rider, you and your horse will acquire the skills needed to assist
your skier, making you a team of three on the course. |

Day 1 Topics: Basic
lower limb anatomy and abnormalities of the fetlock, pastern and foot as well as more
advanced topics. The complexity of the carpal and fetlock sheaths, the upper limb (elbow,
cervical facets, shoulder including the biceptital tendon & sheath), and how to avoid
common pitfalls when ultrasounding the palmar metacarpus. |

Day 2 Wet Lab: Bring
your ultrasound machine or try out the new machines. If you have interesting and
challenging cases, please refer them so we can all benefit. Owners should expect a 20%
discount. Attendance is limited and was filled last year. |
