Synovetin OA
Synovetin OA is an intra-articular injection which can provide up to a year of pain relief. It has minimal to no systemic side affects and has been shown to be 92% effective in mild and moderate elbow osteoarthritis and 71% effective in dogs with severe osteoarthritis after just 1 treatment.
How Synovetin is given
Synovetin OA is given at the hospital under light sedation. The joint it is going to be injected into is clipped and cleaned, and a single injection is performed into the affected joint. This is an outpatient procedure.
